T-Shirts and Hoodies

Our shirts are printed using a direct-to-garment printing technique, so you may notice a vinegar-like scent or an off-white residue when you first unpack your new shirt.  Don't worry, that is not unusual.  It is also not permanent.  The scent is from a fixation agent used to bond the ink to your shirt so it doesn't flake off the garment.  

The solution is simply wash the shirt.

We use the latest direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology and high-quality inks that won't fade for a long time if taken care of properly.

Keep in mind that the original manufacturer's care instructions for the t-shirt or hoodie don't take into consideration the DTG printing process. Bird Fluff recommends the following to ensure you enjoy your new t-shirt or hoodie for many years to come.

Machine-wash on cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. You shouldn't use any fabric softeners or dry-clean your t-shirts and hoodies.

Your t-shirts and hoodies can be tumble-dried on a low cycle, but hang-dry works best. When it comes to ironing, use cool iron inside-out. Don't iron the print.

Follow these instructions carefully to avoid fading and cracking of the print, and shrinking the garment that can occur if you wash or dry it on a high setting.

Mugs and Glassware

Yes they are, though we recommend taking care not to let them rub up against other glasses while in the dishwasher. Over time that can result in damage to the print.

Towels

Yes, this is normal and part of the printing process. Once you wash it, the print side will become soft and silky to the touch.

Order Help

Please contact us immediately by replying to your order confirmation email. We have a limited amount of time (about 2 hours) to change or cancel your order. Whether we can change or cancel your order depends on whether you purchased through our online store or Facebook/Instagram. Facebook/Instagram policies do not allow us to change your order even at your request, but we may be able to cancel it if you contact us in time. If we are unable to change or cancel your order because your item is already being created then we will work with you to arrange for a return and refund on the order placed for the incorrect size. Please note that shipping fees and insurance costs are not refundable and there is a $10.00 return handling fee.

We do not offer refunds for orders placed to incorrect shipping addresses. You may be able to reach out to the shipping carrier directly as the package recipient to arrange for a change in delivery address.

We aim to offer new designs or favorite designs on new products every 60-90 days. We want to be sure that any design we offer meets our quality and design standards.

We are always happy to hear from our customers. While we can't promise that your design suggestions will be used or we don't already have a similar design in progress, we value your feedback.
